There are a great variety of career opportunities that lie in the industry of delivering electricity.   Each year Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative (MEC) participates in career fairs at various high schools in our service territory to give young people the opportunity to learn more about our company and explore potential employment opportunities.

 A display board is set up featuring pictures of employees on the job with a listing of the responsibilities for each position, and MEC employees are on hand to answer any questions the students may have and distribute rulers, pens, pencils, or other promotional items.
