Jason J. Hite, of South Hill, was elected to the Board in June 2025 and is a director for the Chase City District. Hite is a first sergeant with the Virginia State Police, serving Mecklenburg and Lunenburg counties. Additionally, he has previous board level experience having served on the board of Buggs Island Telephone, from 2016 until 2020, and has served on the EMPOWER Broadband Board of Directors since its inception.
