John C. Lee Jr., president and CEO of Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative and EMPOWER Broadband, will retire from his duties at both effective June 30. The MEC and EMPOWER boards of directors have appointed MEC and EMPOWER Chief Operating Officer Casey Logan as the incoming president and CEO, effective July 1.
