Fletcher B. Jones, of Boydton, was elected to the Board in 1986 and is a director for the Chase City District. Additionally, Jones serves as Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative's representative on the Board of Directors at the Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives Website. Jones is an insurance agent with the Watkins Insurance Agency in South Hill. Jones is an active member of the South Hill Lion's Club, a member of the Palmer Springs Volunteer Fire Department, and an active member of the Bethesda Baptist Church.
